Create storage
You create storage by first creating a workload for a specific application type. Next, you add storage capacity to the workload by creating volumes with similar underlying volume characteristics.
Manage volumes
You can manage volumes to increase reported capacity, initialize volumes, redistribute volumes, and delete volumes. You can also change a volume's settings, ownership, cache settings, and media scan settings.
Manage applications and workloads
You can manage applications and workloads to view all the existing volumes on the storage array grouped by workload name and application type. You can also add volumes to an existing or new workload, change the settings for an existing workload, and create new volumes and workloads.
Work with copy services
You can use copy services to copy volumes and take other actions on volumes.
Monitor thin volumes
You can monitor thin volumes for space and generate appropriate alerts, so that you can prevent out-of-capacity conditions.
